Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to 2nd Grade! My name is Mrs. McReynolds and I look forward to
working with you over the next school year. We have a very exciting school
year ahead of us and I will guarantee you will learn a lot and have fun doing
it! I was born and raised in Elk Grove. I went to Pleasant Grove
Elementary, Joseph Kerr Middle School, and Elk Grove High School. I went to
college in southern California at Biola University. I also got my teaching
credential there. After teaching for 5 years, I decided to get my masters in
curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in mathematics. I recently got
married (4 years ago) to Mr. McReynolds, who is an attorney. In my spare
time, I love to run, run, run. I have ran 2 marathons, 4 half-marathons, and
many 5Ks. I also love to read and write poetry.
Elk Grove Unified School District will provide a learning community that
challenges ALL students to reach their greatest potential.
I believe the key to the child reaching their fullest potential is when the
parents, student, and teacher work together to encourage that child towards
success. I am excited to see all the things your child will achieve through
