About The Teacher

Welcome To Sycamore Canyon Middle School.  This September will be the start 
of my 10th year teaching.  I have taught several different grade levels and 
find 6th grade to be one of my favorite places to be.  This will be my fifth 
year at Sycamore Canyon.  I am a local from the Conejo Valley. I was born and 
raised here with the exception of my college years.  I have my Masters in 
Educational Adminstration from California Lutheran. Aside from living in 
Gunison, Colorado for my first year and a half of college,  I completed my 
undergraduate at Chico State.  I love Northern California, it is my home 
away from home, as I spend my summers in our family cabin at Lake Tahoe.  
When I am not working I take advantage of traveling as much as possible and 
enjoy spending time with my husband and beautiful daughter.
