My name is Tracy Sheridan. This is my 6th year teaching at Sycamore
Canyon. I am so fortunate to be working with the finest students, parents,
teachers, and staff. I LOVE my job and coming to work each and every day!
Everyday is a new adventure and first grade is so much fun!
I was born on Long Island, New York, but have lived in Thousand Oaks
since I was five. I attended all Conejo Valley Unified Schools from Wildwood
Elementary School, to Los Cerritos Middle School, and Thousand Oaks High
School. After that I got my degree and teaching credential from CLU. I also
received my Masters in Education with a Reading Certificate in May of 2008!
When I am not busy in my classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family
and friends. My mom, worked for CVUSD for over 10 years and is currently the
Excuative Assistant to the Superintendent of the Oak Park Unified School
District. I have one older brother, Scott, a sister-in-law, and two adorable
nephews! (Landen will be 5 this Decmeber, and Kaleb will be 1 in March!)
Every week my family (including aunts, uncles, and cousins) has
spaghetti dinner at my grandparents’ house and it is truly the highlight of
my week! And when I have time for hobbies, I enjoy going to the beach,
traveling, working out, going to the movies, reading, and especially
shopping!!!
Again, it is an absolute pleasure working here at Sycamore! I feel
so lucky to be here and getting to know so many of you! I am looking forward
to another wonderful year in first grade!!!
