Third Grade (Trimester 1) Writing Assessment 
Autobiographical Narrative

(3WCV 2.7) Write autobiographical narratives.
Describe the setting, characters, objects, and events in 
detail. (W 2.1b)
Include well-chosen details to develop the plot. (W 2.1b)

   Create a single paragraph. (W 1.1)
   Generate a topic sentence. (W 1.1a)
   Include simple supporting facts and details. (W1.1b)


Third Grade (Trimester 2) Writing Assessment 
Summary

selection and the most significant details.

What can I do to prepare my child for 4th grade math?

Request multiplication worksheets or have your child complete fact families 
often. Mastering their math facts to 12 will significantly increade their 
success in the upper grades.
