Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to first grade!!! We will be learning many interesting things this
year. We will be learning about weather, plants and Africa. We will be
making communities, books, and friends:-). I look forward to getting to

My mission is to help my students foster a love of learning, become good
citizens, and unlock their hidden potential. My classroom is to be an
environment where students feel safe, valued, and respected so they may
achieve success in their social and academic lives. My students will be
taught to always show kindness and generosity to others through direct
instruction and modeling. I also strive to provide rigorous academic
instruction challenging every child yet providing necessary support so they
achieve success. When my students leave my room at the end of the year they
will have the confidence and enthusiasm to be life-long learners and
humanitarians.
