Listen to a story every night for 10-15 minutes. (otherwise known as bedtime
story time) Practice reading every night for 5-10 minutes.
Parents: Thank you so much for all your support this year. This week's
volunteer breakfast is a drop in type of affair. Please come when you can
before school begins for a little bite and coffee or juice. Leave your child
on the playground. A teacher should be out there to supervise, until you return.
Also, the "School Check-in" machine on the office counter is up and running.
Please use it for students who arrive late or leave early. Parents should also
use it for volunteering. Thank you!
Complete all work in your homework folder.
Tuesday: Practice singing your animal lines for the opera. Slight change for
fruit bats: They should say. "The name of our opera is...", not the name of
our play...
Wednesday: Practice singing your lines. Read your decodable and do your
worksheets.
Thursday: Practice singing your lines. Pack up your folder!

Sharing: No regular sharing this week. Instead please prepare for a special
sharing. You will need to "teach" the class something that you know how to
do. Tell us what you do first, next and last. Demonstrate your ability.
Practice giving someone at home directions and see if he can follow your
directions and do what you can do, eg. draw a fish, frost a cookie, etc.
Bring all the things that you need to demonstrate.
