2) You need to be able to compare nouns using “tanto(a)(s)…como” (as many/as much…as)

 

• “Tanto(a)(s)…como” means “as many or as much…as”, and it is used to say that the amount of two nouns are the same.
• “Tanto(a)(s)” has to agree in number and gender with the noun that you are comparing.

3) Be able to use the correct demonstrative adjectives and pronouns to complete sentences.

 

• Remember that demonstrative adjectives and pronouns are used to point at nouns and they indicate how close or something is from the speaker(s).
• The demonstrative adjectives are followed by a noun and do not have an accent mark.
• The demonstrative pronouns are not followed by a noun because they replace the noun, and they all have an accent mark on the “e” or first “e” of the word.
• Both adjectives and pronouns have to agree in number and gender with the noun that they are describing or replacing.
