Being a life-long learner is exciting!!
I learn from life and from the students and hope that they catch my enthusiasm
for learning.
I hold several degrees including pre-veterinary (dairy) science, agriculture,
MBA, and teaching credentials for math, science, agriculture, multiple subject
and business.
This took me to 11 different colleges and universities over several
years (decades really).
I have been teaching at Travis Ranch Middle School for 13 years including the
subjects of math, science, and computer applications. My son graduated last
year from Esperanza and completed K-8th grades at Travis. Both are
terrific schools.
I enjoy middle school students; their willingness to learn, their emerging
strength and exponential growth.
Together, student, parent, and teacher, we can do amazing things!!!
Through standards-based instruction, all students will
actively discover their full potential while realizing their
individual ability to grasp both concrete and abstract concepts.
School Purpose: All students will learn at a high level
of academic achievement.
