Do’s Be honest Be prepared Be respectful Clean up your own mess Come in quietly Have great behavior with a Substitute Teacher Have on-task behavior Have your items ready when the bell rings Keep comments to yourself Keep your body parts to yourself Listen when someone is talking Pay attention to the teacher Politely question the teacher Quiet when working together Raise your hand and wait to be called on Remain seated during class Sharpen pencils before class or with permission Sit in your seat quietly Teacher will dismiss you- not the bell Treat others the way you want to be treated Walk in a single file line during a disaster or file drill Walk in the classroom You may drink water only Don’ts Don’t argue with others Don’t be rude Don’t bully others Don’t call people names Don’t cheat Don’t chew gum Don’t click pens Don’t draw on boards without permission Don’t enter unless invited Don’t forge another’s signature Don’t go through other people’s property Don’t go through your binders / backpacks during class Don’t make inappropriate noises Don’t overuse the hand sanitizer Don’t pass notes Don’t put others down Don’t start rumors Don’t tap Don’t throw things Don’t trip people Don’t wander around class Don’t whisper inappropriately Don’t write on desks Don’t yell POSITIVE CONSEQUENCES
