Welcome to 5th grade!
Thanks for coming to our class website! To your left you will find a list of
links that will take you to a variety of information. I tend to fizzle out
with updating the site mid-way through the year, but I'm going to try very
hard to keep this updated the best I can. If it's running behind, send me a
quick email at cdado@ouesd.k12.ca.us to get me back on track! (Email is my
preferred communication for the most part, and I check it several times a
day).
I am looking forward to a fun-filled year. For those of you who like to be
prepared, here are some supplies I would recommend your child have this
year. These are OPTIONAL, but could come in handy:
-a SMALL pencil box/bag that can fit inside your child's desk easily.
-a few pencils
-an eraser
-colored pencils or twist-up crayons (they don't break as easily as regular
crayons)
-binder paper (I will provide a binder that stays in class to hold it)
-2 spiral-bound notebooks (one for math, one for lit circles)
-a dry-erase/white board marker (I have boards for the students)
We will have community supplies for the students to share, so do not worry if
your child does not come to school with the above items.
I have also added a WISH LIST page on this site in case you would like to
donate something to our class. Anything and everything is appreciated!
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone this year!
