Beginning Ceramics- Now that we have most of the basics covered, students will continue their learning with more intermediate and advanced projects such as a vase and a teapot. These projects will combine skills they already use on a regular basis with new skills or ways of combining old skills. Some of the cultural/historical connections we will be making this semester are Jomon pottery and Contemporary Artists.

Intro to Art- This semester students will continue to expand their knowledge of different medias including watercolor, print making, figure drawing, clay, perspective drawing, tempera, and acrylic. Some of the cultural/historical connections we will be making this semester are abstract artist Georgia O'Keeffe and post impressionist Vincent Van Gogh. 

Advanced Ceramics- Students will continue to expand their understanding of ceramic techniques as well as working on the conceptual aspects of working in art.

Advanced Art- This semester the advanced art students will continue to work on learning new techniques such as pen and ink illustrations and will look at contemporary illustrator/artists such as Mercer Mayer and Maurice Sendak.
