I received my B.A. in Social Work from The Pennsylvania State University
and my teaching credential from Chapman University. This is my sixteenth
year in education with the Capistrano Unified School District. I have
been a fourth grade teacher for the last eleven years here at Wagon
Wheel. My previous experience includes four years as a Student
Intervention Assistant. This provided me with the opportunity to work with
all grade levels to improve reading skills. I have a Certificate in Reading
Instruction and have been trained in a number of reading approaches
including Project Read, Guided Reading, and Soar to Success.
