Renewals:
One renewal is generally allowed if the item is brought in to the library on or before the
due date.
The circulation of report books may be restricted due to demand and when students
are expected to work on research projects at school.
Library Use Only:
Current reference materials, current magazine issues, comic-type books, big books,
and books on
tape are available for use in the library but cannot be checked out.
Library Rules:
Show respect for yourself.
Show respect for others.
Show respect for property.
Library materials are to be used, enjoyed, taken care of, and returned on time.
Overdue notices will
be sent home weekly in the Thursday envelopes. If a student has a library item more
than 14 days
overdue, his/her library privileges may be restricted until the item is returned.
Damaged items
should be returned immediately for evaluation and repair. Please make sure all
library materials are
returned only to the West Valley School Library, as returns to other libraries result in
substantial
delays in clearing student records and may result in lost items. Library items that are
lost or
damaged beyond repair will be billed.
