Homework

Weekly Homework consists of the following: 
1. Read 20 minutes and find 3 new/interesting words (Complete Vocabulary Enrichment Worksheet) 
  Parents please listen to your child read, read with them, and/or ask
 them questions about what they are reading. Use the following websites to find books at your child's lexile level/range:
 
2.  Spelling Go to http://www.spellingcity.com/sacren1960/ for the weekly lists. 
You should study your spelling words using this great teaching resource. SpellingCity makes learning your word lists fun and easy.
Each week you are to do the following:
- Click on the word list
- Click on Play Games icon and choose any games to help you practice.
When ready,
- Take the Spelling Test (under the Free Activities Column)
- Take the Vocabulary Test (under Premium Membership Column)
Print out the results, get a parent signature, and turn in to me.

Students have until Thursday night to complete tests and writing assignment.

3. Math  Students will be assigned math homework Mon - Thurs but will be given class time to start working on it. Also use IXL to practice any concepts you need work on:

4. Monthly Project.  Plan and work on your monthly project.  DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO GET STARTED! (See monthly projects and documents page)
