Just a few reminders about the next few days:
• Wednesday - Dress nicely for the We The People Congressional
Hearings at Channel Islands University. You need to bring a sack lunch.
Please reread through your rough drafts and your We the People Unit tonight
and focus on the follow up questions we have been going over. I have your
notecards for tomorrow. Also have a separate small snack to have before we
get on the bus at 9am.
• Thursday – Wear your 5th grade t-shirt as we go to Redwood Middle
School for a preview. We will leave around 9am and return before lunch at
11:45 am. Thursday night is Open House. The classrooms are open from 6:30
to 7:30 pm. Before and after (5:30 – 6 and 7:30 -8) is the Author’s
Faire /Art Show in the MPR with the PTA meeting from 6pm to 6:30pm. You will
lead your family on a tour of the classroom that night.
• Friday - Wear your Jog A Thon shirt. This day will be the Prize Day
and Limo Ride for those of you who are going. In the afternoon we will “pie”
Mr. Hedin for reaching our school goal!
Tomorrow in the Wednesday folder – you will be bringing home information
about the 5th grade Celebration at 8:15am followed by a fun filled day at
Young Set Club which will take place on Tuesday, June 5th. We will continue
the festivities on Wednesday night for the 5th Grade Fun Night from 5:30 to
7:30pm sponsored by the PTA.
