Fluency folders: Please only read the assigned passage. Return fluency
folders on Friday. If your child finishes the passage before the one minute
is up, please just write the time down.
Spelling: Spelling words can be found at www.spellingcity.com under “Karen
Henige” Feb 6
Share: The category for February is “Place”. Please bring something that has
to do with a place in the United States- a souvenir, postcard, book, etc.
Remember that we are emphasizing using describing words.
Jump Rope for Heart: Please turn in the permission slip by Friday.
Focus on the Arts Field Trip: Please turn in the permission slip by Friday.
Valentine’s Day: We are celebrating Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14.
If you are bringing in valentines, please make sure you have enough for the
entire class. A class list went home last week Monday. E-mail me if you need
another list.
