Morning Readers
Morning reader volunteers meet with students on a weekly basis from 9:00-9:20. Volunteers will meet with individual students or small groups for approximately fifteen minutes to discuss the reading. Ideally, our room will need a morning reader Monday-Wednesday and Friday.
Math Wizards
Math wizard volunteers may meet with individual students, work with small groups, or assist in the classroom during our math time after our lesson from 1:45 - 2:15.
U.S. Region Tour
Many of our stops along our tour include a food from the local area. A list of our stops and suggested food items will be provided. We will appreciate any donations!
Science Explorers
Science is a hands-on experience in my classroom! Throughout the year we will need science supplies and volunteers to help with our experiments. We also would love to have a photographer in our room during this time.
Field Trip Drivers & Chaperones
We will need parent drivers and chaperones for our field trips. An insurance form will be attached to your Back to School Night packet. Please fill it out if you are interested in providing transportation so that we can keep it on file for the school year.
Projects
Occasionally there is a need for photo copying and project preparation.
