Welcome to my site.... I am so happy to be here at Woodbury! This is my 16th
year of teaching. I have taught 1st -3rd grade. 2nd is my favorite!
I grew up north of here in Palos Verdes. I ventured off to college in
Colorado and decided to stay for a few years and teach 3rd grade. There I
also received a Masters in Education.
After 8 years, I returned to California and moved to the Hermosa Beach area.
I taught 2nd grade there for 7 years. I loved every minute.
My husband and I decided to make the move south in 2006 and I have been
teaching in Irvine since. My first two years were at Brywood Elementary.
My husband, my 6 month old son Cullen, McCoy, the dog, and I call San Clemente home.
My mission for the class to that every child will become a life long
learner. They will walk away with the
structures to succeed in the next grade and beyond.
