When is homework due?

Homework assignments are due the following class period unless 
otherwise stated.

Can we use pen?

Math assignments are to be completed in pencil ONLY! This allows 
mistakes to be erased.
Spelling assignments are to be completed in blue or black ink.

Why do we have to keep our work in a notebook?

Keeping a notebook helps to teach responsibility and 
organization. This should be an easy assignment grade and helps 
to prepare students for high school and college.

What happens if an assigment is not completed?

An Incomplete Slip we be sent home and the assignment is due the 
following 
day. The 
assignment will be lowered by 10% for not being completed on 
time. If an 
extreme situation 
comes up a parent may write a note indicating situation and the 
assignment 
will be excused for 
one day.

What do I do if I do not understand something?

Ask Mrs. Kangas. I will be happy to help you or re-explain
