BIBLE STORY: “Jesus Heals a Man’. Jesus has the power to take care of our problems of sin and sickness.
He also blesses us through helpers who care for us when we are sick or hurt.

PHONICS: We continue to work on our last short vowel, “U,u” (up, umbrella, umpire). Please continue to
review the letters and short sounds made by all five of the vowels. These are very important sounds as
we increase our reading skills.
MATH: Ordering objects by length; measuring length using no-standard units; making an ABC pattern
using pattern blocks; acting out “some, some more, some went away” stories.
UNIT STUDY/SOCIAL STUDIES: Famous Americans: George Washington.
