General information on homework and grading
I do not assign homework every night. Many times there will be an assignment begun in class thatwill have to be finished at home. Most assignments are completed and put into their history notebook. All assignments in the notebook are stamped on the day of assigned turn-in, indicatingthat the assignment was completed on time. The entire notebook is then turned in at the end of the unit for a more thorough grading. Overall neatness and organization as well as all assignmentsbeing completed are crucial in order to obtain a favorable grade on the notebook. The notebook grade certainly accounts for a large portion of the class grade, however, tests/quizzes, projectsand behavior/participation weigh in as well.Back to Top
