Talent Show April 13th
The Annual Student Talent / Teacher No-Talent Show and Silent Auction is this
Friday Night. It promises to be an evening of great fun. The students
performing this year are extraordinary and some of the teachers have talent
this time around as well. There will be some fun stuff to bid on, such as
front row seats at promotion or In-n-Out Burger lunch and dessert with the
History teachers as well as treats to buy. Oh, and make sure you stay for the
end because we have a fantastic band to close out the show. This is their
warm up gig for next month's Human Race in Santa Rosa. You will not want to
miss it.
Human Race May 5th
Speaking of the Human Race, I am looking for teammates to join me for this
event. We will be running the 10K race to raise money for the Bergin
University for Canine Studies. This school raises, trains, and places service
dogs with deserving candidates from throughout the United States. It is the
only school in the world that offers college degrees on this subject. Our
team is named after the service dog, Orion, who was placed with my daughter
Aleksandra about a year ago. If you would like to join the team or make a
donation please go to: http://www.humanracenow.org/goto/teamorion
Oh, and after the race, we can hang out and watch the band that closed out
our talent show in their first big time appearance. You will be able to say I
say those guys back before they hit the big time! Its gonna be fun and all
for a good cause. Thank you very much for your support.
Mr. Eklund
