Homework

Homework Assignments should take between 45 minutes and one hour. Unless
specified, they are due on the day after they are assigned. The exception is
math facts pages, which are always due on Friday. Students are expected to
read in a book of their choice for 2 hours each week. I suggest that he/she
reads 20 minutes each day Monday through Saturday, but the schedule is up to

3. We will be keeping Halloween somewhat low-key this year. If your child is
planning to wear a mask as part of his/her costume, please have them check it
with me or Mrs. Brown first. Many younger students find the masks scary, so
we are trying to repect their feelings while allowing the students to have
fun. Please consider face paint as an alternative to a mask. Paint is more
comfortable for your student and will allow better vision as well.
