A student's success in mathematics weighs heavily on their mastery of math
facts. Increasing fluency of math facts; addition, subtraction and
multiplication, means practicing those facts for 10-15 minutes per day.
Reading fluency is a student's ability to read a text fluidly and accurately
and is linked to reading comprehension.
Reading comprehension measures a student's ability to fully understand a read
passage while understanding the main idea. It also measures student's ability
to recall factual details, connect ideas, makes inferences and evaluations in
the text.
