5/29/08 - Two of my students are still in possession of the "Tiger Rising" and the "Hatchet" audio books on CD. They were not checked out on
my list, but someone must have them! If you have them, or know who does, please make sure they get back to the office, PRONTO! Thanks.

5/6/08 - We had to move the last testing day for AR to May 15 in order to have awards for the Awards Chapel on May 21st. Students will only
be required to reach 90 % of their AR goal.

2/15/08 - URGENT! All jr. high sports players need to submit pictures for the yearbook. Parents, can you help?
1/9/08 - Third Quarter ends March 7, 2008! Make sure you are reading your AR book to reach your goal before the end of the quarter!
12/5/07 - Yearbook ads are due by December 17, 2007! Parents, if your student did not get the letter to you, you may view and print it by
clicking the English 7 or 8 Handouts tab on the left. Please consider supporting the your student and the yearbook! Thank you!
12/3/07 - There are only two and a half weeks left to earn AR points! Remember, AR counts for 100 points per quarter! You can do it!
11/8/07 - We are 1/3 through the second quarter! Have you reached 1/3 of your AR point goal?
10/9/07 - THE LAST DAY TO TAKE AN AR TEST FOR THE FIRST QUARTER IS THURSDAY 10/18!!! Remember, students score whatever
percentage they have earned toward their point goal. For example, if a student has earned 85.6% of their point goal, he/she would score
86/100 points for the first quarter. KEEP READING!!! :-)
8/30/07 NEWSFLASH: STAR testing results will be sent home with your student in a sealed envelope on Tuesday (9/4), and a parent letter will
be attached. Please sign the 3x5 card that will be enclosed in the letter to indicate that you have seen the results, and have your student return
the card to school on Thursday (9/6). Thank you!
