Getting started:
To get a list of resources to get started with
World Geography, Antarctica/Arctic, Africa
and Asia,
go to groups.yahoo.com,
search for the "missfrizzle" group and join the group. There are several
valuable word documents in the files section that list recommended videos,
books and recipes.
.
Discovery Streaming online videos are available
to VOCS families at no charge and provide a variety of videos related to world
geography. Ask your resource teacher for information on how to log on.
Discovery Streaming requires high speed network access, such as cable, DSL or
satellite. You may want to download the videos in advance for best
performance. If you put them in full screen mode, sit back a few feet from
your computer to watch for clearer resolution.
