Welcome Parents
VOPACT Mission:
Valley Oaks Parent Advisory Committee Tehachapi (VOPACT) organization provides parental input to school activities and programs, is a source of support and encouragement to Valley Oak parents, and coordinates fundraising and events for the school.

Parent Involvement:
We are all busy and if you are unable to make all the VOPACT meetings, we understand! It is not necessary to volunteer for all activities, although we would like to encourage each family to help with just one event during the year. This ensures new ideas and refreshing possibilities for our children.
Meetings Schedule:
Our meetings will be held the first Tuesday of every month at the school facility from 10:45 to 11:45.

Fundraisers:
Pizza Fundraiser
The third Tuesday of the month VOPACT sponsors a Family Pizza Fundraiser Night. Please watch the newsflash for details and locations.
See’s Christmas Candy
Beginning in November, we will start our main fundraiser for the year. We ask that our families participate in selling Christmas See’s Candy to assist with the expenses of our school activities for the year.

October 16, 2009 K-12 Fall Harvest Festival Brite Lake 4:00 to 8:00
December 11, 2009 K-8 Christmas Party School Facility 2:30 to 4:30
December 11, 2009 High School Christmas Party TBA 6:00 to 8:00
December 15, 2009 K-12 Christmas Program, Mountain Bible Church 6:30-8:00
High School Lunch Days:
VOPACT sponsors a high school lunch program; the students may purchase a lunch for $5.00 which includes pizza or tacos, a drink, and dessert. The first Tuesday of the month is Taco Tuesday and the third Tuesday is Pizza Day.
