This link is to the Web page for We Day 2010.  A site where we went and
watched the main video to learn about how the YOUTH can make a difference in
the world.  It ties into many curriculum outcomes in a variety of subject areas.

This link takes you to an interactive video which is great review of
Transformations in Math which we are currently learning.  You my notice Grade
Five listed or described in the site but students and parents are reminded
that many objectives are introduced in one grade level but then brought back
again in the next for further practice and mastery of the objectives.

An inspirational video on Craig Kielburger, the young boy who started "Free
the Children" and developed the WE DAY concepts.  This shows how active a role
children can take in their communities, countries and throughout the world.

website we will be using a lot throughout our Social program this year.
Hunger for Halloween 

We did a Jigsaw challenge in Math today which actually covered objectives from
Language Arts, Social Studies and Math.  It was an awesome class and I'm so
proud of the students.  
Online JIGSAW PUZZLES

Students each have a user name and password.  This site can be accessed from
any computer.  All material is reviewed by myself.
