Second Grade
This week, the second grade classes will read and discuss the story Hungry Little Hare. All classes will work on the vowel sound long u spelled ew, u_e, and ue. We will be writing a persuasive paragraph. We will review plurals, synonyms, and antonyms.
Spelling: The second grade classes will begin two spelling groups. Please check your child's homework folder to find the various lists. Some students will be receiving a more challenging spelling list. Students with the new list will be responsible for all of the words on the list. Thank you for helping your child!
