We are half way through the school year and things are moving along well in the art room.  By now the kids have learned to observe famous artwork and look for the elements of art.  They have created art with different types of medium.  They have learned to critique their own art and critique their peers as well.  Almost all of the classes have made a clay project.
We are so excited to have an Art Gallery come to PCK in early February.  This comes to us from the Cherry Creek Arts Festival through our Alliance Project Grant.  I will be choosing students to be trained as docents.  They will be available during parent teacher conferences to take our families on a tour through the gallery.  Please allow time before or after the conference to enjoy this artwork.
Volunteers are needed in Mrs. Webb's Kindergarten class.  Please consider helping on Thursdays at 1:15- 1:45.
