Although I post our weekly work on the website, sometimes things do pop up! A fire drill, a schedule change, or simply the need to spend more time on a certain concept, might alter our due dates. Therefore, students should pay attention in class and check the homework board in our room as that includes the most up to date information.
7th Grade: For the week of February 13th - February 16th
Monday: Multiple choice and matching test for The Call of the Wild. Students will receive their writing prompt after the test. The paragraph response must be completed for homework (although students can start in class) and turned in on Tuesday.
Tuesday: Background information, introduction and standards for Cyrano de Bergerac
Wednesday: Read and answer questions for Act I, Scenes I and II. We will start reading in class, but if we do not finish students must complete for homework.
Thursday: Read answer questions for Act I, Scenes III and IV.
Friday: No school
8th Grade: For the week of February 13th - February 16th
Monday: Read, answer questions, and discuss "My Last Duchess."
Tuesday: Read and discuss "Ozymandias." Read "Lucy Grey" for homework.
Wednesday: Discuss "Lucy Grey" and read final poem for unit - "We Real Cool." Review for tomorrow's poetry test.
Thursday: Poetry test
Friday: No school
Monday: No school
Tuesday, February 21st: Introduction to African American unit.
Friday, February 24th: Latin/Green #2 quiz
