I was born and raised in Colorado, in fact, I grew up in Elizabeth Co. I then went on to the University of
Denver's Lamont School of Music, where I majored in Flute Performance. It was while I was attending
D.U. that I realized that truly I wanted to teach. At the time I wasn't sure that I wanted to be in a
classroom, but, I knew that I loved teaching lessons. It wasn't soon after that I realized that path was not
very fulfilling. I was connected to PCK through a student who I was giving private lessons to and the rest
is history! I am now going into my 10th year teaching at PCK and I would NEVER look back! I love my
job. I love the kids, and I love the challenge of trying to better the program every year!
I have been married for 9 years, and have a SUPER CRAZY active 4 year old named Callie! Our life is
amazing!
