Spanish - Mrs. Amezquita

! Hola Niños !

My name is Mrs. Amezquita. I was born in Bogota, Colombia,  Sudamerica. In my country, I was an Attorney and I taught Law in different Universities for almost sixteen years. I moved to The United States ten years ago. Since then , I have been teaching Spanish to kids (from 3  to 16  years old ) in different schools and also to adults at Red Rocks Community college and others places. I have also been taking  education classes to teach students through different methods (  Montessori, TPR, story tellers, inmersion programs,ect) and to make my classes fun and effective.I have all kind of educational materials of my own, which I have been buying since I moved here, to make my classes interesting for all ages of students. I really enjoy working with kids and love to see them evolve and grow in knowledge. I am strict, but I also know when to play and have games in my class. I am very excited to be your teacher this year and I am sure you are going to have a great year!
