November 2nd-13th: 7th Grade French: After finishing our outline for the
French Passport, we will start the final copy and finish them. Spelling is
important, as we have the form to work from. Have fun with this project!
Don't forget to bring in your picture of yourself, either a school picture or
something from a magazine! Merci!
November 2nd-13th: 8th Grade French: We finish our studies with the
irregular verb AVOIR, including the Avoir Expressions. There will be a quiz
the week of November 9th on Avoir and vocabulary words which we have
studied. Also, we will review the different ways of asking a question in
French. NOTE: 8th GRADE FRENCH! Our French Lunch is Thursday, November 19th
to JaJa Bistro!! I would like to introduce you to the food vocabulary also
the week of November 9th and continue through the week of the 16th! Merci!
November 16th-December 4: 7th Grade French: We will be finishing our Passport
pour Les Etats-Unis! We will display them in the classroom. I will give you
your grade report for them the week of 11/23. After Thanksgiving, we will
take out Weather Expressions Handout on Le Temps et les Saisons. Learn,
memorize and Practice Weather Expressions. Handouts and a Quiz.
November 16th-December 4th: 8th Grade French: Our French Lunch at JaJa Bistro
is Thurs. Nov. 19th. In keeping with that, we have handouts and expressions
on Food in France/French Restaurant/How to Order/how to say the foods in
French. Make French Menus and hang up in hall. I will introduce the
verb "Aller" TO GO..just before the Thanksgiving Break. Follow up and
memorize after we come back.
