There will be no homework on Tuesday or Thursday due to Parent teacher
conferences. This week instead of continuing our lessons, we are going to be
going over some of the previous lessons and review some of the concepts
students have been struggling with.
Part of the saxon math program includes word problems we will be working
together to solve these in class. Students may be coming home with some to
finish at home. I am noticing they can do the problem, but when
asked "explain how you got your answer" the problem becomes more difficult.
Please work with your child to have them explain how they solved the problem,
using the words first, next, last.
