Dear Second Grade Parents,
As a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day we will be having a Green Foods
Tasting Day next Tuesday, March 17th. Attached you will find a list of the
green foods that second graders brainstormed today. Please sign up for any
item(s) that you would be able to provide 27 small pieces or portions of for
our St. Patrick’s Day tasting celebration and return the attached form by
Monday. Look online to see which foods have already been signed up for. If
it is something that will keep, you may send it in early, otherwise send it
that morning with your student. If you come up with any additional food
ideas, feel free to send those, too. Thanks so much for helping us celebrate
the eatin’ and don’t forget the wearin’ o’ the green and send your student to
school in something uniform colored green that day, too.
