About The Team

 Diane Swann: BA in El Ed from Oklahoma Christian University, 1983; MA in 
Special Ed., Mild Moderate Needs Ages 3-21, 1995; worked in Christian Ed. as 
K/1 teacher as well as pt. time as substitute teacher in Grand Junction.  
Diane then taught for nine years as K-6 SPED Teacher in the inner city with 
Denver Public Schools.  This is Diane’s fourth year at PRA as Learning 
Specialist and Team Leader.


Diane is here full time and is supported by two educational 
assistants Valerie Herder and Jackie Losasso.

Jocelyn Reichel (MS, NCSP), psychologist/social worker, addresses the social 
and emotional needs of our students.  Days at PRA: Mondays, Tuesdays,every 
other Friday.
Office is located between the library and our learning specialists room.
Jocelyn shares her time with Stone Mountain Elementary.

Sue Thompson, (M.S. CCP-SLP), BS '86, and MS '88 from CSU, Sue spent 1988-
1989 w/South Platte BOCES, then from 1989-2006 worked w/DPS in speech 
pathology.  Sue helps students with articulation errors as well as 
expressive and receptive language skills.  This is her 3rd year at PRA.

Sharon Groeling, occupational therapist is here on Tuesday 
mornings and some Wednesdays.


Nicole Luetjen RN, BSN is available as needed.

Jackie Losasso, BA,Psychology, spent 16 years working with Developmentally 
Disabled and 4 years as ISS para w/Douglas County, and this is her 3rd year 
w/PRA.

Valerie Herder, BA, Sociology, spent 8 years off & on teaching Spanish in 
private schools and in the home, 1 year w/HOPE Online Schools w/at-risk 
students in 2nd-8th grade. This is her second year at PRA.

Mission For The Team

We are dedicated to meet the needs of PRA students.  Using data (test 
scores, teacher recommendations), we provide targeted interventions with 
research based pedagogies.
