This is Mr. Willsea's 12th year at Platte River Academy. In that time he
has taught music, social studies, language arts, and science.
Mr. Willsea will be teaching tennis at Mountain Vista this year, for the
boys in the fall.
Mr. Willsea's true passion is Science Olympiad. In 2007 we had a banner
year with a first place regional finish, a second place in the state competition, and qualification
for the national tournament in Wichita. Last year we finished first in the region, and 4th at state.
We are looking for similar success this year. Mr. Willsea is looking for corporate sponsorship to help
cover the costs associated with participation in these tournaments. Along with this support, we are
looking for parents to volunteer to help the students with events for the tournament.
Be prepared to perform at the highest level in high school.
