I was born near my grandparent's turkey farm in McPherson, KS, but moved
to Plainville, KS at the age of two. Plainville is a very small town, so I am
still friends with the same people with whom I attended kindergarten! I
earned my BA in Spanish/Secondary Education from Ft. Hays State University
in 1982.
I live in Highlands Ranch with my husband, Ken, our two boys, Eric (18)
and Andrew (16), [both graduates of PRA], and our little dog, Tucker. My
sons play hockey, so watching their games is our primary form of
entertainment. Eric has now graduated from Mountain Vista and is continuing
his education at the Colorado School of Mines in the field of electrical
engineering. Andrew is a junior at Mountain Vista High.
I am beginning my 12th year of teaching Spanish at Platte River and I
love it more each year. Our students and staff are the best!
