Video Production Course Description


10, 11, 12                .5 credit
Prerequisite: Computer Applications and Application
This course is a hands-on introduction to video production, and will 
give students the basic knowledge of single camera production and 
post-production editing techniques. Students will learn how to use 
video equipment and production techniques to tell an effective and 
engaging story. Students will be required to complete projects such 
as news, sports and features to air on the Sailors Video Magazine 
Broadcast, as well as other in-class projects. This program will 
articulate with the Aurora Community Collage Program at the HEAT 
Center in Denver, and with Aims Community Collage. A course fee of 
$25 is required. This course may only be taken once for credit.
