Formerly an AP English teacher and SAT tutor here at VCHS, Mrs. Whitley
returns to our counseling department this year with 16 years of teaching and
education experience. A graduate of Baylor University with both a Bachelor's
and and Master's degree in Education, her training includes AP Literature and
AP Language certifications as well as continuing education and professional
development credits in High School Curriculum, PDAS, and Gifted and Talented
Education. Mrs Whitley is also a memeber of the Colorado Council, RMACAC
(Rocky Mountain Association for College Admissions Counseling), and NACAC
(National Association for College Admissions Counseling).
She and her husband Worth (Chaplain at the Vail Valley Medical Center)live in
Gypsum and have two children: Blair, a recent graduate of CSU; and Travis,
former Vail Christian graduate in 2008 and current CSU student.
