Who can go on EOS trips?

The trips are usually limited to 7th and 8th graders, although 6th graders 
occasionally go. This is because there is such a high demand on
trips and limited spots.

How often are the trips?

The spring and fall seasons are usually full of opportunities. However, 
there are several winter excursions including ice climbing and winter
mountaineering.

Who leads the trips?

Typically teachers who have significant outdoor experience and are prominent 
community members.

What are the costs of an average trip?

We try to pay all expenses through the EOS funds.  However, there might be 
slight fees for some trips.

Where do the EOS funds come from?

The money mainly comes from the annual tree sale and grants.

Do I need equipment?

Equipment is generally provided, but a backpack or sturdy hiking shoes are 
required on some trips.
