Manuscript Writing (Printing)

YES ! Handwriting is important!

   Because . . .

***Your child begins communicating in writing in Kindergarten. Improper
formation of letters will slow down the writing process, making it a long and
laborious task.

***Children without instruction tend to begin letters starting close to
their bodies and extending outward. This is not expedient, and will later
hinder transformation to cursive writing.

***Let's face it -- teachers want to be able to read your child's work!

The following links provide lots of practice and instruction on correct letter
formation.
