Veteran's Day is coming up this Friday. Think about some things that you
might be able to bring in to send to a soldier overseas.
Excellent Job on the carnival!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who helped and to
all the carnies for putting on such a fun event.
Casorio's Carnies are hosting a carnival this Friday, October 28th!!!!
Please bring everything that you need for your costume!
Tuesday is Winding Trails Day. Please make sure you bring in $5.00 for your
tee-shirts.
Dress warmly and in layers. It is usually cold in the morning and gets
hotter as the day goes on.

Reminder: Tuesday and Wednesdays are Silent Sustained Reading Days. Please
remember to bring your books on those days.
We need to find an advisory name. Think about it and come in with ideas.
Please remember to return your envelopes with the signed slips by Friday.
Sports start on Tuesday and no one will be allowed to participate without a
signed form.
Purpose of Advisory
To bond with a teacher who is not necessarily an academic teacher
To develop relationships beyond your usual groups
To develop a sense of "family" within the school
To become a safe place where we can discuss important issues that will
not be discussed anywhere else
To set goals for yourself for the year
To have a person "your advisor" who you can go to with issues and who
can help you brainstorm ways to solve these issues
