December 4- Students were given a study island assignment to complete by Monday. The assignment is called Pronouns and can be found through their login and password to www.studyisland.com Students need a cumulative average of 80% or better on the assignment to receive full homework credit. A lesson on pronouns was given in class.
December 3- Reading logs were checked today in class. Be sure to continue reading and writing logs for IRB.
IRB final copy date is December 19.
November 28- Finish reading Ch. 17-19 in The Giver Notes should be taken in spiral bound notebook: What new pieces of information does Jonas learn about his community? Minimum of 5 new pieces should be identified.
November 26- Rough draft for IRB should be completed in composition book for tomorrow.

November 16- Inside / Outside character map will be collected on Monday.
November 12- Reading logs were collected today. Make sure you keep reading EACH night, but this week, you will create an inside / outside character map for your main character in your IRB. You should have 8-10 inside characteristics and 8-10 outside characteristics. Your map should be colored.
