College Prep Civics

This course is designed to help students understand how the United States
government works. In this course the students will focus on the following
essential questions:

1. What are the characteristics of a good citizen?
2. How does the federal, state, and local government organized?
3. How do the three branches of government check and balance one another?
4. What is the process of how a bill becomes a law?
5. How has juvenile law changed throughout the last three hundred years?
