Today we had an absolutely fabulous Thanksgiving luncheon! The desks were set up as one long table, with beautiful tablecloths, plates and napkins.  The children dined on sliced turkey, chicken wings, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls and corn bread. Dessert followed the meal: beautiful cookies and grapes.  It was so exciting to see their faces as they walked in from recess!  The children truly enjoyed the meal and were very appreciative - everyone used their best manners.

A great big thanks to our room captains - Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Tullio for making this possible. We'd also like like thank Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Gelman, and Mrs. Ruggieri for their help with the meal and special thanks to all of the parents who cooked for us! I am thankful for such wonderful families!!
