Students are asked to read this poem to three people at home. (Don't forget to call Grandma and Grandpa- I know they love to hear poems!)

Then: on a piece of lined paper, write down the words that you found in the poem that rhyme, write what the poem is mostly about (main idea), who the author is (sometimes it's anonymous), and what you liked best.

Finally, draw a picture that illustrates the words of the poem.
