Hello! I am Mr. Kravecs, and although my students and I will study the past, I
am looking forward to what the upcoming school year at East Shore Middle
School has to offer both myself and my students. Prior to coming to East
Shore, I have spent time working in public schools in Bridgeport, Trumbull,
and Redding.
I received my educational training at Fairfield University, where I graduated
with a Masters in Teaching and Foundations in May of 2008. Prior to my work at
Fairfield, I earned my Undergraduate degree from the University of
Connecticut, where I pursued a double major in Political Science and History.
This upcoming school year will be my fourth here at East Shore. In addition to
our classroom studies, I also work with the school community as the adviser of
the Student Council.
As a class, we will identify, analyze, and explain major events, figures, and
places important to United States History from the early 16th Century to the
mid 19th Century (and yes, we will have a good time doing it, too!).
