CMTs will be given in March. Just a reminder that your child will be taking the CMTs during March. The CMTs assess academic growth and progess. A complete schedule of the testing will appear on our calendar. What can you do to help your child during this testing period? Encourage your child to do his/her best each day by reading the questions slowly and carefully and working at a good pace. See that your child is well-rested and has a good night's sleep for each test. Send your child off to school on test days with a good breakfast in his/her stomach. Make sure your child arrives at school on time each day and is absent if too sick to attend school. Ask you child how he/she did each day. Encourage him/her. Remind your child that he/she is not expected to know every answer nor complete every section.
